Do you like the idea of being your own boss?
Keep your own hours. You decide how much you want to work in this business. The sky is the limit as far as earning potential. There is no chance of being fired or laid off so you do have more job security. You can work from anywhere, so you have some serious flexibility. But you do need to be sure someone has your back if you want to vacation. Plus, deciding to take a vacation at the last minute probably won’t work out.
Real estate transactions are stressful for home buyers and sellers, so you need to be good at problem solving and communicating with your clients. You don’t want to drop the ball (and there are many balls to juggle in a real estate world), so being detail oriented and organized is a huge plus for a real estate agent.
