Local Business Openings and a 250 Year Old Tree

We are pleased to see that businesses are reopening in the area in the wake of Hurricane Michael. The first of the two that we’d like to mention is Fowhand Furniture. Glad to see a local tradition live on after the hurricane. They do have some discounted furniture with some storm damage, so definitely worth checking out. Shop local!

Also, we have seen that Amavida Coffee is back in action. And if you need a remote office, they have Wi-Fi! Things just keep getting better and better in Panama City, and we love to see that.

We are amazed (along with many other Florida natives) at the 250 year old tree at Oaks by the Bay that is still standing after the storm.
